Confidentiality 

At Clutter to Calm with Aimee, I offer a fully confidential service and will not divulge any personal information with any third party. If you are kind enough to offer a testimonial or review that I can use for social media and promotional purposes, I will request written consent giving me permission to share your review and any photos but again these will not contain any personal information.

Rest assured any phone calls that take place will not be recorded, I request my clients do not record these either. This is to protect any personal information from either party.

Insurance

I am covered by public liability insurance up to the amount of 1 million GBP

Cleaning

I offer light cleaning (I like to clean as I go) as part of my service but if a deeper clean is required I can offer this at an extra cost. Please just ask.

Moving & Handling

I can move light furniture alone but not large heavy items for health and safety reasons.

Removal of items

I’m happy to help with recycling and donating where possible, but I cannot take full responsibility for your unwanted items.

Access & Safety

If the premises is inaccessible or unsafe upon arrival, I reserve the right to charge for lost time and travel expenses. Examples include:

Pest infestations

Infectious diseases

Animal or human faecal contamination

Structural instability

Prices

Initial 30 minute phone/video consultation is free. I will require photos and/or videos of the area beforehand.

Monday – Friday decluttering is charged at £20 per hour.  (3 hours minimum)

Sunday decluttering is charged at £25 per hour.  (3 hours minimum)

I also offer virtual decluttering assistance/guidance at £5 per 15 minutes. Time charged is rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes.

Deposit is required when booking.

The service you require, and the fee will be agreed upon via email after initial consultation.

Travel Costs

I do not charge for travel by car if your premises is within 15 miles of Kettering. Over 15 miles will incur a small fuel charge. This will be agreed upon via email.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. My preferred notice period is 7 days if you change your mind or would like to reschedule, please see below for cancellation notice periods and fees that may apply.

72 hours or more – No fees apply

24 – 72 hours – 25% of the fee for the service booked

Less than 24 hours – 50% of the fee for the service booked

If I can fill your booking with another, no fee will apply

If I request to reschedule, a discount on your total fee will be offered, with confirmation sent via email
